CV Salil Sainis

Salil Sainis is currently working as a Researcher (permanent) within corrosion at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden based in Stockholm. He primarily works on corrosion investigations in recycled wrought and cast aluminium alloys. He is an expert surface analyst with extensive experience in various advanced techniques such as SEM, EDS, AFM, SKPFM and FTIR. Prior to the current position, Salil completed his PhD in Materials and Manufacturing from Jönköping University, Sweden (2022) with a Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) doctoral fellowship from the European Union. He also holds an MSc. In Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands.
