Abstract: Sustainability in Aluminum Surface Treatment: Future-Ready Solutions
Regardless of current geo-political circumstances, sustainability remains essential to the future of our industry and continues to be a core focus for our company. We would like to present our sustainability approach in aluminum surface treatment, focusing on technologies that reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, equipment that minimizes water usage in conversion coating, and how we provide a Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) from cradle to gate to meet future Construction Product Regulations (CPR).
- Energy & CO₂ Savings: We would like to present on technology operate at lower temperatures, reducing energy demand while maintaining high-performance quality. This translates into lower CO₂ emissions and a more sustainable production process.
- Water-Saving Equipment: With innovations like APNR (Adhesive Promoter No Rinse), we enable significant reductions in water consumption, optimizing the conversion coating process and minimizing wastewater discharge.
- Product Carbon Footprint – Cradle to Gate: To support sustainability and regulatory compliance, we calculate the PCF of our products from raw material sourcing to the point they leave our facility. This transparency helps customers measure and reduce their environmental impact while staying ahead of future regulations.
Through this presentation, we aim to highlight how these innovations make aluminum surface treatment more sustainable, efficient, and future-ready.
